I stumbled across this video on YouTube and was deeply inspired. It shows a savant by the name of Daniel Tammet . In this video he performs complex calculations such as 37^4 and 13/97 (giving an answer with 32 decimals) as well as reciting PI (3.14) with over 22,000 decimals!
Gifted individuals like this should be honored. They should be teaching other human beings about the way they think and how they see the world. This is the type of news that should be on TV to inspire us all. As opposed to the poisonous drivel that dominates the airwaves nowadays.
